I am a recent graduate exploring fun, challenging options to grow my skillset and experience in animal welfare.
I graduated this spring 2023 from Washburn University with biology honors and a B.S. in environmental biology. I finished with a GPA of 3.66.
In my free time, I enjoy reading books and articles, spending time with my dog, and challenging myself with new activities.
I started my research with basic radio telemetry, tracking turtle movements with Dr. Benjamin Reed. I bring personal and interesting experience with testudines, a positive attitude, driven and hardworking personality, and an extreme interest in the subjects. My goal is to get involved in welfare organizations as soon as possible, or potentially join a lab as either a Master's student or PhD candidate.
